Prior to each visit:

  • For the safety of our technician, customers are to thoroughly clean all equipment so all substances are removed before disassembly

Screens, Blades and Rolls

At the center of every Fitzpatrick product are unique components - screens, blades and rolls.

Fitzpatrick screens are designed to create the ideal contoured shape while maintaining a precise, tight fit. Incorporated with our machines, our screen technology is capable of achieving a small, consistent, repeatable particle size. 

Fitzpatrick OEM parts hold higher tolerances, compared to non-OEM competitive parts, causing controlled/limited size reduction variables for increased particle size control. Our narrow variances contribute to predictable size reduction, smaller particle size ranges and less fines.

Our blades and rolls require a unique manufacturing process which produces the highest quality of product. Our blades and rolls are constructed with superior material and are abrasion resistant for a high-quality result.

Our components are tested and inspected thoroughly, for end user operation, to ensure each part is within fit and safety operation tolerances.  Correct assembly procedures are followed. Rotors are balanced for longevity and smooth and safe operations.

Does it matter if I use Fitzpatrick OEM parts or can I use a competitors for my spare needs?

Due to the high compression forces and rotational velocities of these machines, we do not condone any 3rd party parts or components for use on our equipment. These parts can potentially cause unsafe conditions and poor product results. Third party components are not guaranteed to follow proper design qualifications or FDA guidelines. This substitution may result in premature wear and contamination issues.

What is the best way to prevent disruptions in my production process?

A Preventative Maintenance Plan is the best way to avoid unnecessary disruptions. Fitzpatrick’s Preventative Maintenance Plans include a thorough inspection and evaluation of your machine.  Customers on maintenance plans receive preferential and priority support. By also keeping a backup of critical spares on your premises, unexpected downtime can be avoided.

How can we make sure our new employees are trained properly on our equipment?

Our experienced field technicians are available for a scheduled on-site training session to provide instruction and answer all questions.  This customized session can be recorded for future training purposes.  On-site visits should be scheduled regularly so an expert field representative can also review and evaluate the overall process operations for achieving optimal production results and prolonging the life of the machine.
